He’s known for his six pack abs and generous shirtless selfies. But, as Bollywood actor Sonu Sood reveals, the secret to a super toned body is not just about pumping iron. In Dubai recently to film with international star Jackie Chan for Kung Fu Yoga, Sood told tabloid! he did only two things while filming in the city last month.
“All I did in the last 37 days of was work and work out,” said Sood, who claims that his physique is one of the reasons he was cast in the Chan film, which is directed by Stanley Tong.
Here are his three top tips:
1. It’s not just about working out
“Toned bodies are built in the kitchen, not the gym.”
2. Cheat days and binge eating shouldn’t be considered rewards
“Eat right and make healthy food choices. Even if you don’t have time for hitting the gym, eat neat. And remember, don’t eat clean the whole weak and then have a cheat day so that you binge-eat. That’s never good for you. Even when I am filming, I don’t make many demands except provide dal and an extra helping of salads for me”
3. Get your rest:
“Sleep is important. If you don’t sleep, it shows on your face.”
