Dubai Holding Company (DHC) has named Khalid Al Malik as CEO of the Dubai Industrial City (DIC), which has recently been set up to operate under the umbrella of the DHC.
Following his appointment, Al Malik stated that the creation of the DIC is an important step in developing the UAE's economic infrastructure and supporting the national economy.
He said that the city will provide a set of services and facilities to companies and institutions. All companies will enjoy a range of privileges, flexible legislative environment, long-term contracts for land and installations, with minimum operational constraints.
He said the city administration will offer financing options, and upgrade industrial education and training.
Al Malik was earlier operations director at the Dubai Investment and Development Authority,
