Dubai: Applications from exhibitors, companies and visitors to book their pavilions at the 23rd Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex) and Dubai Solar Show (DSS) are now being accepted by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa).

These exhibitions will be held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, from October 5 to 7 at the Expo 2020 Dubai site.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, Founder and Chairman of Wetex and DSS, said: “The exhibition’s location at the Expo 2020 Dubai site allows exhibitors to reach a larger number of stakeholders. These include visitors, investors, decision-makers, public and private entities, industry leaders, experts, manufacturers, and other interested parties around the world, to promote their innovative products and services, make deals, build partnerships, learn about current and future projects and market needs, and explore opportunities to take part in solar-energy projects in the region. This enhances Dubai’s position as a global hub for clean energy and a green economy.” Leading platform

Al Tayer added: “Wetex and DSS are globally leading platforms that highlight the close connection between sustainability and Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies. It also tackles the impact of disruptive technologies, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and research and development to produce clean energy and water.”

He further said: “Both the events provide an exceptional experience for exhibitors and visitors from around the world to learn about the latest technologies and developments in the energy, water, sustainability and innovation sectors.”
