World Cup schedule?

I would like to know if Gulf News can publish a World Cup schedule chart? I am a long time subscriber of the newspaper, and during all the previous World Cups, I have seen that Gulf News has published a chart — that, too, a really nice, big one. So, I request the newspaper to do the same this year, too.

Thank you for your feedback. The World Cup schedule chart was published on page C2 of the Sport section, on June 13. It can also be viewed on Gulf News’ World Cup section, through this link: gulfnews.com/sport/football/worldcup-2018/fixtures-results

Missing cartoon strip

I read the Alex cartoon series daily, with great interest, but could not see it being published in Gulf News, over the past few days. Could the newspaper please advise where one can find it?

Where is it?

I miss the Alex comic strip in the Business section of Gulf News. Will it return?

Hotline call

Thank you for the feedback. We always welcome our readers writing and calling in, as it helps us to stay accurate and relevant. With reference to Alex, the cartoon strip was moved to accommodate more content as per reader requests. Nevertheless, the decision continues to be evaluated and what you have said has been taken onboard as part of that process. We will keep you posted.

Cater to all

Just checking — does Gulf News know that there are many other nationalities living in the UAE, apart from Indians and Filipinos? The newspaper seem to be focusing a lot on these two groups, to the point where I feel I should unlike the official Facebook page. Kindly try to incorporate other nationalities, too.

From Ms Elize van Wyk

UAE

Gulf News is a journal of record and reports what is relevant and happening on the ground. There is no preference or bias towards a particular community or nationality. In fact, our primary focus is news that matters to people in the UAE, and this is reflected on our social media channels. Nevertheless, we do take your feedback and perception on board. Thank you for writing in.
