Sana'a: A US drone struck a car carrying suspected Al Qaida militants in the afternoon in the province of Hadramout, southeastern Yemen, a local official told Gulf News. The strike killed at least three suspected militants.
"An hour ago, a drone launched three missiles on unidentified car in the village of Moudhour on the highway between Qatan and Sana'a," Riyadh Al Jahwari, the director of Qaten district, said.
The official said that Qaten hospital received three bodies at 6am.
"Local residents rushed to the car when they heard two explosions. The moment they approached the car, the drone fired the three missile," he said.
US drones have carried out many similar attacks in the same province, killing dozens of suspected militant.
