Cairo: Saudi prosecutors have ordered the arrest of two young men involved in drinking from a water bottle in a store and returning it to a box of containers in an act deemed dangerous to public health, Saudi media reported Wednesday.

One man appears in the footage showing off drinking from the bottle while the other is wanted for capturing the incident on the camera.

“Producing what harms public security and food health security is considered among major crimes that warrant arrest,” a prosecution source said, according to Saudi online newspaper.

Such an offence is punishable by a maximum five years in prison and a fine of up to 3 million riyals, according to the source.

Saudi authorities have intensified efforts to curb the spread of the highly contagious coronavirus in the country.
