Cairo: Omani authorities have urged private businesses to send their employees showing symptoms of the new coronavirus to health institutions and threatened legal action against cover-ups. Oman so far has recorded a total of 3,573 COVID-19 cases, including 17 deaths.

The Ministry of Manpower has obliged private sector companies to subject suspected patients and infected persons among their employees to examination and warned against “hiding them for public good to limit the spread of the disease”, the Omani news agency ONA reported.
