The Fantastic Four joined forces to fight the evils of climate change in a 'seven-minute spoof' documentary which premiered at the International Indian Film Academy awards in Yorkshire, England.

Outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair made his acting debut as Mr Switch, while Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan (Spokes Turbo), and Hollywood stars Heather Graham (Summer Breeze) and Sienna Miller (Sparky Wires), added glamour and glitter to Global Cool, an environment awareness clip directed by Shekhar Kapur of Bandit Queen fame.

“The seven-minute documentary is about the making of the movie. There is no actual movie,'' an official at Wizcraft International Entertainment from Mumbai told XPRESS. “The making of the movie is the movie itself.''

The film will be shown as a trailer throughout India's cinema screens as well as featured as a preview on thousands of DVD releases worldwide.

Blair, 54, plays the prime minister in a future world, whose job is to check the use of low energy light bulbs.

Bachchan plays a specialist dealing in carbon dioxide emissions from cars and public transport vehicles. Glam dolls Graham and Miller tackle issues on air conditioning use and switching off electrical items.

Global Cool follows the footsteps of former US Vice-President Al Gore's documentary An Inconvenient Truth, which won an Oscar last year.

Global Cool is an innovative 10-year plan to tackle global warming by empowering one billion people to annually reduce their personal carbon dioxide emissions by at least one tonne each.

The initiative also supports alternative energy projects around the world to develop a long-term answer to conserve energy.
