Abu Dhabi: One person was killed and nine others were injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Al Garbia yesterday morning, Abu Dhabi Police said.
The bus driver may have fallen asleep due to fatigue, resulting in the accident, according to the preliminary investigation report.

The deceased was a 50-year-old Sudanese national, who was a passenger on the bus.
"It appears that the driver of the bus fell asleep and crashed into the truck loaded with iron bars from behind," said Major Ahmad Al Shamsi of the Police Traffic and Patrol Department at Al Garbia.
Last Thursday, five Japanese engineers were killed in a horrific accident along the same highway after a 14-passenger minivan crashed into a trailer truck.
