More than two dozen members of the Overseas Filipino Civil Engineers' Association (OFCEA) recently made a technical visit to a Galvanising Services Est plant in Al Quoz Industrial Area.

The trip was part of the continuing professional education programme of OFCEA, which groups Filipino civil engineers in the UAE.

At present, it has 210 registered members and 40 affiliate architects working in different engineering fields.

"The visit was both technical, informative and educational," said Aladin Matinong, OFCEA president.

OFCEA is an affiliate of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc., which is accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission in Manila.
