Dubai: Two housemaids and a salesman, from Sri Lanka, on Wednesday confessed to beating a 64-year-old housewife then tying her up and steal from her flat Dh200,000 worth of jewellery.
The suspects pleaded guilty when they showed up before the Dubai Court of First Instance, which will hand out a judgment on July 11.
The Indian housewife claimed the defendants stormed into her son-in-law’s flat, tied her up then stole the jewellery and absconded.
