After 32 years, Microsoft's latest Windows 10 update promises exciting new features but will not have one of its flagship office programs - MS Paint.
First released in 1985 as part of Windows 1.0, Paint was one of the very first graphic design programs used by amateurs and professionals alike.
While we all may not be able to imagine a time when Paint couldn't save a picture in .JPEG format, it was only in the Windows 98 version that this became possible.
A recent Windows 10 update did have what the creators called an updated version of Paint called Paint 3D with far advanced features and capabilities, but this one isn't really an update and more an overhaul of the much loved program.
The exact date of release of the new version hasn't been confirmed yet.
