Sharjah: A 32-year-old-man reportedly mired in financial trouble survived a fall from third floor balcony of a building located in Al Buhairah area, Sharjah Police official said on Sunday.
Police said the Indian man, identified only by his initials A.K., fell from his apartment’s balcony late on Saturday and was admitted to Al Qasimi Hospital.
Doctors said the man sustained fractures and he is in critical condition.
The man was mired in financial difficulties and was involved in disputes with a number of men over money.
Police said he wanted to escape from them, and he jumped from the balcony.
The man is currently under the watch of police guards. Buhairah police have launched an investigation into the incident.
