Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar , who was last seen in the 2008 film Karzzzz, sashayed down the ramp for designer Nisha Sagar at the ongoing Amby Valley India Bridal Week (AVIBW) on Saturday.

Wearing a colourful, heavily-studded lehenga and corset, the actress walked down the ramp, joined by actor Govinda's daughter Narmada, who flaunted a blue and green, flowing chiffon dress with crystals.

"[With] the kind of clothes I have designed this time I think Urmila and Narmada fitted the palette and the cuts very well. So they were a very good choice," Sagar said.

Dia Mirza also looked stunning in a white wedding lehenga as the showstopper for designer Rocky S. on Saturday.

"What is interesting is to see an Indian bride in a white lehenga. So surreal and beautiful. The garment is stunning and I think that in itself is a reflection of the line. What Rocky is trying to do with this collection is asking: ‘why stick with the mould?' Break it and try something new," Mirza said.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut, who walked the ramp for designers Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor, said she was against people spending excess money on opulent weddings.

"A wedding is about two people tying the knot...Not about others. I'm strictly against criminal wastage of money on weddings. We should avoid unnecessary people at the wedding. Instead we should give the money saved from that to charity and do good to someone else."

So what are her plans for her own wedding?

"I really don't know. I'm quite young so I don't think about my marriage yet," the 23-year-old said.
