The No Entry star, who wed Dubai-based hotelier Peter Haag in a low-key ceremony at an ancient monastery in Austria on July 23, is currently recuperating and taking a much-needed rest. But the former beauty queen took the time out to chat to us.

In her first interview since the birth of her twins, Jaitley gets her supportive husband to spill the beans (in case you are wondering, he typed her responses) on mothering, returning to work and more.

How does it feel to be a mother and have you changed your first nappy?

I have achieved many laurels as a woman and yet this is the highest and most overwhelming. I thank God who has given us these two little angels, who mean the world to us. We feel blessed. Though I am still in recovery, I am actively participating in whatever I can and I look forward to more.

Would you call giving birth to your sons the best moment in your life and any birthing tips?

This is definitely one of the best phases in my life. It's amazing to join the league of procreators and to hear the two babies cry as soon as they were delivered. By far, this has been the most fulfilling experience of my life.

Dubai has been excellent in terms of healthcare and post-natal facilities. Giving birth to our children here is a wonderful step towards a good tomorrow. Thanks to an international mix of medical experts residing here, my journey during the entire pregnancy was brilliant.

My advice would be to tap into this great foundation to ensure a smooth pregnancy. And let me tell you, we faced many challenges with the twin pregnancy.

Have you now taken a sabbatical from work?

I will be getting back to work after three months. Motherhood makes me feel beautiful, alluring and wise — even more than before. I cannot wait to express all this through my forthcoming films.
