Abu Dhabi: Internet household usage was estimated at 66 per cent, according to a survey conducted by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) to measure the accessibility and the usage of the ICT in the UAE.
Household usage of broadband was 87 per cent, and 13 per cent was the usage of dial-in lines. The survey shows that people using internet are aged between 15 and 74 years.
It also shows that 83 per cent of families in the country are using internet, out of which is 95 per cent use broadband. About 84 per cent of the students use the internet.
