Skyline University College has launched two new undergraduate programs that focus on the rapidly growing fields of artificial intelligence and software engineering. Both the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Concentration in Artificial Intelligence (BAI) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Concentration in Software Engineering (BSE) will be offered under the School of Computing.
The BAI program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, technologies, and applications. The curriculum covers topics such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics. Graduates of the BAI program will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to design and develop intelligent systems for a wide range of industries.
The BSE program, on the other hand, focuses on software engineering principles and practices. Students will learn how to design, develop, test, and maintain software systems using the latest tools and technologies. The curriculum covers topics such as software architecture, database design, software testing, and project management. Graduates of the BSE program will be well-prepared for careers in software development, software engineering, and related fields.
"We believe that these new programs will meet the demand of the fast-changing job market and prepare our students to become leaders in their chosen fields. We are committed to providing our students with the best possible education and ensuring that they are well-prepared for professional life. The BAI and BSE programs will not only equip our students with the necessary technical skills but also with the critical thinking and problem-solving abilities needed to succeed in the digital age." said Professor Mohammad In’airat, Vice Chancellor of Skyline University College.
"We are excited to offer these two new programs under the School of Computing Artificial intelligence and software engineering are two rapidly growing fields that are shaping the future of many industries. Our programs are designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in these fields and make a positive impact on society. Skyline University College is proud to be at the forefront of educating the next generation of AI and software engineering professionals. " said Professor Ghassan Issa, Dean of the School of Computing.
Both programs will be taught by experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. The School of Computing is equipped with cutting edge facilities and resources, including specialized labs and software tools, to support the learning and research needs of the students.
