Dubai: Amanat Holdings, a health care and education investment company, on Tuesday reported Dh14.4 million in net profit attributable to the company for the first quarter of 2018, marking an 11 per cent increase year-on-year.

The company’s total income in the quarter also increased to Dh28.3 million.

Amanat said the rise was mainly driven by a 35 per cent jump in income from associates, adding that this income is expected to be higher in the next quarters after the consolidation of stakes in Abu Dhabi University Holding Company.
