Dubai: Air Arabia, the Sharjah-based low-cost carrier, announced it is launching flights to Sohar starting July 9, making the city third destination to join the carrier’s network in Oman.

The new route complements Air Arabia’s existing operations in Oman to Muscat and Salalah, and boosts travel and trade opportunities between the UAE and Oman. The flight will operate three times a week.

The carrier said it will become one of the first international airlines to operate from Sohar International Airport.
