Dubai: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai, AGMC debuted Spectre, the marque’s first fully-electric motor car. The world’s first ultra-luxury electric super coupé has been introduced as Rolls-Royce prepares to build only electric cars by the end of 2030. Spectre is Rolls-Royce’s most powerful and most aerodynamic car ever created and the first ultra-luxury electric super coupé in the world.

Its design reinvents iconography, taking inspiration from contemporary luxury yacht concepts. “Engulfed in supple and inviting leather, the interior draws inspiration from the timeless mystique of the night sky, with an intricate show of shooting stars and an illuminated fascia with over 5,500 stars, a feature which took over two years to develop,” it said in a statement. The Starlight Doors incorporating 4,796 softly illuminated ‘stars’ are available for the first time on a series production Rolls-Royce.

Silent and powerful, with a contemporary yet timelessly crafted aesthetic, Spectre is the embodiment of the next generation of Rolls-Royce,” said César Habib, Regional Director Middle East & Africa, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “Spectre leads the world as the first ever ultra-luxury electric super coupé and leads our marque into its bold future, as we prepare to build only electric motor cars by the end of 2030.”

The Architecture of Luxury has been tailored to integrate Rolls-Royce’s electric powertrain into Spectre, enabling ideal battery placement within the floor plan. The mechanical setup has been honed over countless hours of specialised testing, ensuring a optimal ride quality.

Spectre’s digital architecture of luxury named SPIRIT sets a new precedent for how technology and luxury are married with automotive excellence, not only managing the motor car’s functions, but also seamlessly integrating into the marque’s Whispers application, allowing clients to interact with their car remotely, and receive live information curated by the marque’s luxury intelligence specialists.

“Unrivalled creativity, craftsmanship and engineering sit at the pinnacle of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, coming to life in Spectre,” said Mamdouh Khairallah, General Manager of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai, AGMC. “This electric motoring masterpiece perfectly answers a call from the most discerning individuals in the world to elevate the electric motor car experience and with the unveiling of Spectre here in Dubai.”

Spectre is the first production two-door coupé to be equipped with 23-inch wheels in almost one hundred years, emboldening Rolls-Royce’s wheel strategy to meet the proportional demands of Spectre’s scale. The first customer cars are set to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2023.
