Palestinian man dies one hour before daughter’s wedding

Dubai: A Palestinian man in the Gaza Strip died on Tuesday just one hour before the wedding of his daughter, local media reported.

Omar Al Hasanat was getting ready to receive his daughter's groom at their home in Gaza when he collapsed and died suddenly.

His demise turned the joyous occasion into a day of grief and sorrow.

The wedding has been put on hold, and instead of receiving well-wishers, the family started receiving mourners.
