359 new COVID-19 cases detected in Bahrain

Latest cases include 186 expatriate workers, six fatalities reported

Dubai: Bahrain has reported 359 new cases of coronavirus, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 37,996 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.

Six new fatalities were also reported in the past 24 hours, taking the overall death toll in the kingdom to 136.

Additionally, 518 COVID-19 patients have made full recovery, bringing the total number of recoveries to 34,412.

The Health Ministry revealed that the latest cases incude 186 expatriate workers while 173 of them are contacts of local cases.

The ministry added that of the 3,450 active cases, 92 are receiving treatment and 45 in critical condition. The kingdom has also conducted 760,733 tests overall.
