Imee vows to continue anti-Arroyo campaign

Congresswoman Imee Marcos, daughter of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos, said she will no longer give in to her mother Imelda Marcos, who asked her not to call for the impeachment of President Gloria Arroyo at the House of Representatives.

In an interview, she declared, "I will continue campaigning for the ouster of President Arroyo."

However, members of the opposition parties have started to snub her, following allegations that her mother and President Arroyo have become allies because the latter has allowed the burial of the former strongman at Makati City's National Heroes Cemetery.
