Dubai: The Dubai International Academy will host its second International Swimming Competition at the Hamdan Swimming Complex on October 15 from 8am to 5.30pm. Last year, this was a major event with 350 swimmers competing from 10 different schools: American School of Dubai, Collegiate American School, American School of Doha, GEMS World Academy Dubai, Universal American School, Dubai American Academy, GEMS American Academy, American International School in Abu Dhabi, American Community School of Abu Dhabi and Dubai International Academy. This year will be even bigger and better with the addition of Raffles World Academy.
The competition will be officiated by Fina (Federation Internationale de Natation) certified judges from the UAE Swimming Federation and the atmosphere poolside will be buoyed by parents and well-wishers.
