Englishman Kipp Popert made it win number four of the G4D Tour season in the G4D Tour @ BMW PGA Championship around the West Course at Wentworth Club, England.

Popert started the final round two shots behind Italian Tommaso Perrino and one ahead from Spains Juan Postigo Arce, a two-time winner already this season including the G4D Tour @ Hero Cup 2023 at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Coming out of the blocks fast in the final round, Popert made gains on Perrino on holes three and four, the Italian struggled on the front nine. When the pair were through 12 holes Popert was in fact level par for the tournament and Perrino now two over.

Eighth G4D Tour title

Further birdies coming down the stretch for Poppert secured the 25-year-old a five-shot victory and his eighth G4D Tour title.

"I played really well today. Hit it really good.

"I gave myself a lot of really good looks out there. Just had a few misreads but I'm really pleased with how I played and (caddie) Ben and I did a good job as always."

Popert, who was diagnosed with a form of cerebral palsy called Spastic diplegia that affects his lower body, has now won the past three G4D Tour events following victories at The Belfry and Galgorm over the summer.

The next event on the G4D Tour schedule is the G4D Tour @ DP World Tour Championship at the Jumeirah Golf Estates, Earth Course on the 17th - 18th November 2023.
