Dubai: An 11-year-old schoolboy from Dubai will fly to Manchester and watch Manchester City's final game of the Barclays Premier League season.
Mohammad Hamdan Khalifa Al Shair, from Dar Al Marefa School, was announced as the winner of the popular children's magazine Majid's story- telling competition in which entrants were asked to submit a story about an imaginary visit to the City of Manchester Stadium.
Alshaer's story, titled ‘Dream of My Life becomes reality', is a journey of discovery through Manchester, in which he imagines playing for the club and setting up his hero, Carlos Tevez, to score a goal in the final minutes of a game.
The narrative won the judges hearts - beating more than 200 other story entries in the process.
Al Shair said: "I will be living my dream. It will be my first trip to England and my first time meeting my hero Carlos Tevez. I hope Manchester City win the game and my hero scores."
