Dubai partygoers have another excuse to let their hair down — Ibiza is coming to town. Well, kind of. Pacha, the legendary club franchise, whose Catalan island branch is one of its most notoriously famous, is coming for one night only at the Nasimi Beach, Atlantis, The Palm, on Friday.

Featuring a mix of house, electronic and techno music, Pacha's two resident DJs — Sebastian Gamboa and Giuseppe Tuccillo  — have promised to take party lovers "to an unknown ecstasy".

tabloid! caught up with the pair ahead of their performance to ask about their music, Ibiza and their top tunes.

How would you describe your music?

Gamboa: I try to play happy and entertaining music, always house music with influences of many other styles from pop, rock, and the funky.

Tuccillo: My music is inspired by the night and the day of Ibiza. Every moment of the day has a sound.

Which artists have most influenced your music?

Gamboa: For me, it will be DJ Pippi, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Jamie Lewis and many other DJs with whom I have worked. I have always done house music, although in the beginning my tendency was to do more funky house and soul.

Tuccillo: I have no particular artist as an influence. I like many artists and styles such as funk, jazz or eletronica.

How did you get started as a DJ? What tips would you give to anyone wanting to be a DJ?

Gamboa: I started off working as an assistant until I was given more opportunities. And here I am today.

The only advice I can give is to be devoted to what you want to achieve. Be patient and be prepared to work your way up, and not be obsessed with fame.

There is a lot of competition and it can be really hard in the beginning. So determination is the key.

Tuccillo: I started producing and editing in vinyl in 1995 and started to DJ six years ago. If you like music and the nightlife, then it is a profession I would definitely recommend. You have the opportunity to visit interesting places and meet different people and learn about cultures and make people have a good time.

How would you define Pacha? What is the sound and the feel of the club, and how does that translate to a different venue?

Gamboa: Pacha is one of the few places of the world where the authentic club style is still alive and it's possibly one of the most entertaining places.

Tuccillo: Pacha is Pacha. It has class, beautiful people, good music and variety. The different theme nights such as the Funky Room, The Flower Power Party or Cadenza on Sundays give a very special touch.

Tell me one song that you have in your playlist right now?

Gamboa: Canoa by Gregor Salto & DJ Gregory. I believe that it is a song that has everything.

Tuccillo: Exotica by Martin Denny.
