Ramadan is a time for generosity and giving. We, as a group, wholeheartedly believe in embracing the concept of charity and giving to the less fortunate - our community group, “Serve the Heroes”, visited the labour accommodation in Sharjah for Bee’ah workers, recently.

Youngsters and parents got together to distribute iftar to approximately 250 workers of the Sharjah environmental and waste management company.

These hardworking labourers work day and night, even while they fast. So, we had bought items like laban (yoghurt-based drink), juices, water bottles, cakes, apples, bananas and dates for them.

Iftar is the most satisfying meal after over 14 hours of fasting and it was a touching moment for us to serve them.

We are thankful to all the contributors and volunteers for their overwhelming support and strong spirit of service.

We just hope people will continue to embrace this spirit even after the month of Ramadan has passed, because there will always be people who need help and assistance.
