In the spirit of the Fifa World Cup, Dubai-based make-up artist Alicia Goveas has created five looks to help you flaunt your favourite team’s colours. Goveas has used a combination of face paints, available at party stores across the city, and regular make-up items for easy application. Try your hand at the looks and get your game face on.

England

Use red eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eye. Fill in the rest of the eye with navy blue eyeshadow. Use a white eyeliner on the waterline. For the Union Jack, draw out the centre cross shape using red eyeshadow and fill in the rest with blue and white. Use a long-wearing foundation base to make sure the colours don’t slip around. Finish with a deep red lipstick.
