Honest taxi driver rewarded by Sharjah Police

Sharjah: Fadhel Qadeem Adam, a Pakistani taxi driver, was awarded by Sharjah Police on Thursday morning with an appreciation certificate for his honesty,

The driver was lauded by authorities for returning a bag containing jewellery that was forgotten in his taxi.

Adam handed over the bag to the police immediately after finding it in his taxi.

Colonel Mohammad Rashid Byat, director-general of Police Operations at Sharjah Police, awarded Adam and said that the award comes within the framework of activating a partnership between the community and Sharjah Police as well as spreading the spirit of cooperation, in order to establish a secure and safe society.

Col Byat praised the action of Adam and said he exemplifies honest taxi drivers.

Col Byat urged all community members to emulate the example of Adam.
