Abu Dhabi: In a drive to maintain the city’s aesthetic image, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City at the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities has issued 63 warnings against haphazardly installed satellite dishes in Musaffah Industrial Area.
The municipality also warned 26 individuals and organisations to replace faded and worn-out flags, and the authority itself removed 10 flags that were particularly faded, the municipality said in a statement on Saturday.
Residents have been urged to keep up the hygiene and order in the capital, as detailed in Law No. 2 of 2012 regarding the general appearance of the city.
The regulation bans the installation of more than four dish antennas on each rooftop, as well as their installation on any balconies, walls or gardens.
In addition, cables cannot be left visible on the building’s façade.
