Manila: Judy Ann "Juday" Santos and Ryan Agoncillo's daughter Juana Luisa (aka Luna) was baptised in an intimate family gathering where lots of smiles -- and baby cries -- were traded on Sunday.
The occassion saw Juday, the Philippines' TV drama queen, and her husband actor and TV host Ryan, surrounded by friends in a local church and later at a restaurant for the reception.
Juday and Ryan have adopted Yohan, 9. They have a biological son Lucho, 5, who was born in October 2010.
The couple posted their family picture on the popular social media site.
Luna was born on January 8, 2016. Ryan had to rush out from the noon-time Eat Bulaga where he works as a host to be with Juday during her labour.
The Agoncillos said they are trying their best to raise their children well.
Yohan, who is now in gradeschool, sometimes makes her being an adopted child an issue in the household, but Juday told the showbiz magazine Pep: "I tell her always, ‘It doesn’t matter where you came from, what matters is, what’s important is we’re together, we are meant to be together'."
“When I was 26, I was ready to have a baby, but nothing. I was even ready to have an artifical insemination procedure, because I really wanted to have a baby at 26. Then, Yohan came. So, I believe we are meant to be together. We even look almost the same."
“Even if I didn't conceive and deliver her, we are meant to be a family.”
