Bollywood actress and singer Priyanka Chopra has spoken of women’s empowerment through education at a world leaders conference in Boston.

Chopra took to Twitter to talk about the “privileged” moment of sharing a dais with leaders such as Bill Clinton.

“What an amazing day. So honoured to speak at @EFHelloWorld & being part of an amazing list of speakers @billclinton @stevewoz @OfficeGSBrown,” she tweeted.

The actress spoke on the importance of girl’s education and women’s empowerment, which plays a significant role in the development of a country, at the Education First Hello World’s Day with World Leaders Conference held on Friday.

Other attendees included former British prime minister Gordon Brown, co-founder of Apple Steve Wozniak.

The actress also said she was delighted to talk about her favourite subject.

“Gratified, talking about my favourite subject #GirlPower 2 all the ladies out there... Happy Valentine’s Day. Always remember u are so VALUABLE [sic],” she tweeted.

Chopra also supports the Girl Rising campaign.

The actress has starred in movies such as Fashion and Mary Kom and she is currently in the US to film an American TV show.
