The DIFC Courts have partnered with the University of Oxford’s China Centre to provide legal guidance and contract enforcement to companies looking to operate along China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

In addition to providing dispute resolution and the enforcement of court judgements, Sunday’s agreement will see the pair work on research and reports, in order to “enhance understanding of the legal and regulatory challenges faced by businesses and courts in the 70 or so BRI countries,” a statement said.
