AROMA Int’l Building Contracting LLC, a leading construction company in Dubai, was honored with Taqdeer Award – the world’s first points based award launched by the Government of Dubai under the directives and patronage of  Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, for following excellent labour welfare practices, protecting labour rights, arranging best labour housing, enhancing health and safety of labour across the project sites/accommodation, implementation of Wage Protection System (WPS), and ensuring welfare and happiness of its labourers, at a gala ceremony held at Dubai World Trade Centre – Rashid Hall on May 17, 2021.

AROMA is one of the two companies who have won the award in all the four cycles consecutively since its inception in 2016.

The Taqdeer Award confirms the pioneering role played by the UAE on regional and international arenas towards the welfare of workers, protecting their rights in accordance with the international norms and laws, safeguarding the rights of both business owners and workers, and providing a suitable environment for success of both parties in accordance with the international standards.

Aroma International, which specializes in multi-storied buildings, commercial complexes, shopping malls, factories, schools, labour accommodations etc., was founded in 1998 by Sajeev P.K., an experienced and qualified civil engineer and a Non-Resident Keralite hailing from Kollam district, and it has more than 3,500 employees, from seven countries, in its pay roll.
