Dubai: Rescuers continue to search for a Saudi teenager swept away by strong floods in Ha’il.

Saudi civil defence teams along with dozens of volunteers are combing the flooded valley to find the 17-year-old boy.

A video capturing the moment when the boy was swept away by a strong flood went viral on social media platforms.

The search for the missing boy started on Saturday evening after heavy rains lashed the Kingdom’s Ha’il region, including its main city and its surrounding suburbs, leading to floods in valleys.

Thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rainfall and strong winds lashed the regions of Mecca, Al Baha, Asir, Ha’il and Al Jawf have led to floods.
