Kuwait City: The Acting Director of Kuwait University, Dr. Fayez Al Dhafiri, stressed that the university will not tolerate cheaters and that they will be applying consequences for those that are caught cheating, local media reported.

Al Dhafiri told Al Qabas that a university professor caught his students cheating during an online test. He notified the dean of the college, who then referred the cases to the respective authorities to take necessary actions, as it is per the university’s policy.

He added that the students were cheating with Whatsapp, communicating with one another, and stressed that the university will be taking strict measures against those that are caught cheating.

The punishment for those that cheat ranges between failure or being dismissed from the university, Al Dhafiri pointed out.
