The Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, received the body of his brother, the late Emir Sheikh Sabah. The body was also received by the speaker of the National Assembly, Marzouq Al Ghanim and the Prime Minister, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Sabah.

Later the body was taken to Bilal bin Rabah Mosque to participate in the funeral prayer for the Emir Sheikh Sabah.
