Karachi: The Sindh Government will soon enter into a formal agreement with private tour operators to open tourist sites of the province to local and foreign tourists as has been the norm in the hilly areas in the North of the country.

The decision to this effect was reached as Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism Syed Sardar Ali Shah met a delegation of private tour operators who are desirous to tap the tourism potential of Sindh.

“I want to assure you on behalf of the Sindh government that private tour operators should brought tourists here from all over the country as they could visit any tourist destination of Sindh without any risk or danger,” said the provincial Tourism minister while meeting the delegation.

He said that the private investors could play an important role in promoting tourism in the province as they should take advantage of the most suitable time to do investment in Sindh.

He said the Sindh government would extend full cooperation if the private tour operators came forward to introduce city tours in the big cities of Sindh like Karachi and Hyderabad using double-decker buses.
