Temporary road closures in Mirdif and Abu Hail in Dubai this weekend
Two intersections in Dubai will be closed for 48 hours due to maintenance work
Dubai: Two road intersections in Dubai will be closed for 48 hours over the weekend to allow maintenance work, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Thursday.
The RTA tweeted: “A delay is expected at the junction of Algeria St with 71st St Mirdif due to maintenance work, from Friday, August 27, at 12am until Sunday, August 29, at 12am.”
The RTA also said the junction of Al Rasheed Road with Abu Hail Road will be closed for 48 hours, from Friday 12am until Sunday, 12am.
“We advise drivers to be careful, adhere to the directional signs and use alternative routes to reach their destinations,” the RTA tweet added.
Alternative routes
The alternative option for Al Rasheed Road is Al Khaleej Road while the alternative routes for Abu Hail Road are Al Wuheida Road and Abu Baker Al Siddique Road.
