Eid Al Etihad: UAE private sector holidays announced

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) announced that December 2 and 3 will be a paid public holiday for private sector workers in the UAE on the occasion of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad. Work will resume on Wednesday, December 4.

2 new Dubai Salik gates from Sunday: 5 things to know

From Sunday, November 24, new Salik gates will become operational in Dubai, after Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that it would be introducing two new toll gates this year, which would not only distribute traffic across the city’s entire road network, reducing traffic congestion and volume, but also encourage people to use public transport options, like the Dubai Metro, public buses and marine transport.
