Dubai Government Workshop rolls out Ramadan initiatives
‘Khair’ is a volunteering programme for employees to participate in charitable work
Dubai: Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has launched several initiatives that highlight the spirit of Ramadan, including ‘Khair’, a volunteering programme for employees to take part in humanitarian and charitable work.
DGW has also placed internal interactive posts, in addition to organising awareness lectures in association with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department to raise public awareness about various health, religious and social issues, apart from discussing various other Ramadan topics.
‘Spirit of giving’
Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, CEO of DGW, said: “The launch of Ramadan campaigns reflects DGW’s commitment to spread the spirit of positivity, happiness and camaraderie among employees. This move promotes the spirit of giving — one of our society’s deep-rooted values that continues to be fostered by the wise leadership’s policies and directives.”
