COVID-19: UAE reports 1 death, 445 new coronavirus cases

Dubai: The UAE has reported 445 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, bringing the total confirmed COVID-19 cases to 53,045.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced one more fatality, taking the country’s death tally to 327, while the number of recovered patients has risen to 42,282 with the recovery of 568 people.

The new diagnosed cases were detected after the ministry conducted more than 51,000 COVID-19 tests as part of its plan to widen the scope of tests.
