Dubai: Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has terminated three non-Kuwaiti female music teachers for performing at private parties in exchange for cash without obtaining permission from the ministry, Al Qabas daily reported quoting sources.

Sources said the three teachers, who worked in Ahmadi Educational District schools for years, violated rules and regulations.

Although they were warned and referred for investigation with a penalty decision issued against them earlier, they committed violations once again, the daily said.

Sources added the First Technical Instructor for Music Education in Ahmadi Educational District Mohammad Al Ajmi referred the three teachers to the Legal Affairs Department, but they denied the accusation despite the presence of evidence such as video clips.
