Abu Dhabi Police warn motorists as fog reduces visibility

Abu Dhabi Police have urged motorists to exercise caution as fog reduces horizontal visibility across parts of the emirate.

Police called on drivers to comply with variable speed limits displayed on electronic road signs and information boards during periods of reduced visibility.

Motorists were advised to remain alert and adjust their driving to the prevailing weather and road conditions to ensure their safety and that of other road users.

The warning comes as fog forms over parts of Abu Dhabi, potentially affecting visibility on roads during the late night and early morning hours.
