From 1956 to today: Dubai Police showcase history at ICOM 2025

Dubai: Dubai Police is highlighting its rich heritage at the 27th General Conference of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Dubai 2025), the world’s largest gathering of museum professionals. The event, held in Dubai for the first time in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, runs until November 17.

Under the theme “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities”, Dubai Police’s exhibition traces the force’s journey since its establishment in 1956. Visitors can explore artifacts including historical documents, official uniforms, equipment, and photographs that showcase the evolution of policing in the emirate.
