Fire at Carpet Souk near Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi: Authorities urge caution

Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority have been working to contain a fire that broke out at the Carpet Souk near Zayed Port on Friday morning.

Specialised firefighting and emergency teams were deployed shortly after the incident was reported, with containment efforts continuing at the location.

No disruption to traffic reported

Officials confirmed that the fire has not affected traffic flow in the vicinity of the incident site.

In an earlier statement, Abu Dhabi Police said joint teams were already dealing with the fire and had mobilised resources to the area.
