  • Dubai Water Canal

  • Burj Khalifa

There are five starting locations: Museum of the Future, Al Satwa, Coca-Cola Arena, Business Bay and Lower Financial Street. Participants must finish at the gate linked to their chosen starting point.

The shorter route is designed for families, children and cyclists of all abilities.

It takes riders through Downtown Dubai, passing landmarks such as Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera and Burj Khalifa.

What time should you arrive?

Participants are advised to arrive between 4am and 6am to allow enough time for parking, registration checks and reaching their starting gates.

The routes open at 6.15am, and all cyclists must begin their ride by 7.30am. The routes will close at 8am.

The event is not a race and does not involve timing. A maximum speed limit of 25km/h applies.

Cyclists planning to ride to the event before sunrise should ensure their bicycles have working headlights.

Can you take your bicycle on Dubai Metro?

Participants bringing their own bicycles should plan their journeys carefully, as bicycles are not permitted on the Dubai Metro.

The available options include travelling by car or cycling directly to the event.

Public transport users travelling without bicycles can take advantage of the extended Metro operating hours announced by the RTA.

Registration is compulsory

Although Dubai Ride is free, participants must register in advance for safety and security reasons.
