Abu Dhabi: The UAE Football Association announced that it will provide five charter flights to transport supporters of the national team to Basra, where the UAE will face Iraq in the decisive second leg of the 2026 World Cup playoff.
The association urged fans wishing to travel to register through its official platforms starting 4pm on Saturday, noting that registration will close once all seats are filled.
The UAE drew 1–1 with Iraq in the first leg in Abu Dhabi, leaving Tuesday’s match in Basra as a showdown to determine which team advances to the intercontinental playoff for a spot in the 2026 World Cup.
