Ok, so we have some good news and some terrible – absolutely awful news, especially if you are a fan of all things home décor and furniture (we are).

Williams-Sonoma, the company behind brands West Elm, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids, is shutting down its Dubai Mall store next month.

In a note on social media, it said: “After years of bringing inspiration to your kitchens and homes, it’s time for us to say goodbye. Our Dubai Mall store will be closing doors on December 26.”

The good news? The store is on sale before it exits the mall. “As we prepare to say goodbye, we invite you to visit us and enjoy our 25-70% off sale. Thank you for being part of our family—come find something special to remember us by,” the brand wrote on social media.

The move comes soon after other international brands, such as Debenhams, announced closures. Meanwhile, news abounds of brands such as Primark and Ultra Beauty coming to Dubai.
